	Hear Hear, Priest.

Krys deserves more than to be the center for theological debate. Sandy
Harris just proposed that we actually _do_ something with our emotions, and
mentioned an "education fund for promising <young women in the technical
fields>".

This is the impact that Krys had on the people around her - the guys on the
list were positively _fawning_ over her because she was both attractive and
brilliant. It was she that the female newcomers to the list/scene strived
to sound and converse like, and she was respected for her points of view and
intellect because she was educated and genuine.

From the women on the list I converse with, it's this being genuine with
herself and others, and pursuing what she wanted to pursue that set her
apart. There are so many women on the list who start piss fights and little
mini-wars to try and keep themselves in favor in the Scene, fawning over
this guy or that (for whatever reason), dressing in florescent stuff that
would make their God wince.

Krystalia was above it all, it never touched her, and whether those chicks
knew it or not, the personal glow, the sense of presence and being liked by
all - they learned it from her and it was she they tried to emulate (though
trying to be different in something they taught was "flare"). Krys was such
a damn good person....

Goddess Mother Keep you, Krystalia - you have touched a lot of lives, and
while it's time for you to touch other lives now, those here will miss your
precious company.

I want to take a moment to express my sorrow over the loss of Krystalia.
It is a dark day when such a bright star is snuffed out.

Many have commented on how she is gone and there is no God or that God is
so cruel in taking her from us. I want to point out that, for those of
you with faith, He does not work that way. For those of you who choose not
to believe, let us set aside or dogma for the moment and not debate the
merits of either point of view. Instead let's come together to morn and to
grieve over the loss of Krystalia.

She is not truly gone as long as we remember her and instead of cursing
the evil that brought her low perhaps I may be so bold as to recommend
that we give thanks that, while she was with us only a short time, we were
graced with someone as special as she.
